What ever happened to that partnership between Footnote and Gannett? Is Footnote digitizing historical Gannett papers and is there some record of the schedule and progress?

    Thanks

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for the reply. I am interested in Kentucky, Indiana and Tennessee papers, especially the Louisville Courier Journal and the now defunct Louisville Times which was closed after Gannett bought both in the 1980s. They span a long period of Louisville history.

I would also like to say that although I am not a subscriber, adding such papers or War of 1812 service records would get me to subscribe and keep subscribing.
